Linda Beech Cutler has been hired as deputy director of commercial strategy division for Sacramento County Airport System, which oversees Sacramento International Airport, Executive Airport, Mather Airport and Franklin Field. She is responsible for promoting the airport system to increase revenue at all four sites.

The Aerospace Museum of California in Sacramento has hired Karen Jones as development director. She will manage the continuing education and outreach programs.

Denise Brown has been appointed as director of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in Sacramento.

Lasher Auto Group has hired James Slan as custom finance director to run the special finance department at the Elk Grove Dodge and Subaru Store.

Rhett Snider has been named senior vice president and chief operating officer for the Von Housen Automotive Group, which owns the area's Mercedes-Benz dealerships. He previously served as vice president and general manager of the company.

PremierWest Bank has promoted Anthony Johnson to assistant vice president/ district manager of the Sacramento Valley region. He will oversee growth of all the bank's branches in Sacramento, Nevada and Yolo counties. He will continue as Davis branch manager in addition to his new role.

Sarah Ellis, a certified public accountant, has been named a shareholder at Gilbert Associates Inc., a Sacramento-based tax, audit and accounting firm. She is a senior manager who specializes in assurance services for educational institutions, employee benefit plans, and various types of privately held businesses.

MQ FamiliesFirst, the state's largest children's social service agency, has hired Ron Scott as vice president of human resources. He works out of the Davis and Fairfield offices.
