The 38th annual Pig Bowl featuring a team of law enforcement officers vs. firefighters is scheduled to be played at 1 p.m. Saturday at California State University, Sacramento.
It's the 10th anniversary of the "Guns and Hoses" battle. Previously, officers from the Sacramento Police Department played those from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Parking lots will open at 8 a.m. for tailgating.
Parking the day of the game is free in stadium lots 7 and 8. Game tickets are $10 and free for children 5 and younger.
Proceeds will be shared with many area charitable groups.
