UC Davis, which will play its first season in the Big Sky Conference, will open the 2012 season Sept. 1 at home against Azusa Pacific, the school announced in a news release of the Aggies' schedule.
The 11-game schedule will mark the final season for longtime head coach Bob Biggs, who has announced he will retire at the end of the season.
After three non-league games (including at San Jose State on Sept. 8), the Aggies will play their first Big Sky game Sept. 22 at Cal Poly, which also enters its first season in the conference.
UC Davis will play six games on the road and five at home, including the 59th annual Causeway Classic against Sacramento State on Nov. 17.
