Learn about our many feathered guests – millions of migratory birds that flock to the Sacramento Valley each winter. Lots of children's activities will be offered including a 9 a.m. tour of McFarland Ranch with duck-calling demonstration and a free wild animal show at 3 p.m. Vendors offer bird-related products such as houses and feeders as well as home goods. • FREE E-WASTE COLLECTION AND SHREDDING

Tackle two problems at once – dispose of unwanted electronic products plus shred confidential documents and papers. This collection will accept computer monitors, televisions, desktop and laptop computers, computer mice, VCRs, stereo equipment, speakers, keyboards, PDAs, digital cameras, zip drives, telephones, cell phones, printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, microwaves and small appliances such as toasters, mixers, blenders and vacuum cleaners (with the dust bag removed). Up to five banker boxes of documents will be shredded for free; additional boxes may be shredded for $10 a box.
