Tom Coughlin leads the New York Giants into their second Super Bowl during his tenure as head coach, which began in 2004 following eight years as head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. In 16 years as an NFL head coach, Coughlin has compiled a 142-114 won-loss record, including the 2008 Super Bowl championship, earned with a 17-14 victory over the New England Patriots. Coughlin's Giants face the Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5.
