• 1. Live dribble: If the Kings are caught holding the ball and not moving, the Trail Blazers will be able to lock in and force turnovers.
• 2. Play tough: Portland is one of the more physical teams in the league. The Blazers have beaten the Kings twice in Portland this season by increasing their defensive intensity, and the Kings have not responded well.
• 3. Reserve help: The Kings need more from the bench. In the last two losses, the Kings reserves have been outplayed. A better effort from the bench will have the starters fresh in the fourth quarter.
