A chilly morning with patchy fog in the Sacramento region is expected to give way to sunshine and mild temperatures today, forecasters said.
Meanwhile, travelers are advised to check with their airlines this morning after heavy snow hit the Denver area, delaying several Sacramento flights heading east.
Northern Californians waking to temperatures in the upper 30s this morning can expect sunshine and high temperatures in the 60s today, according to the National Weather Service. The wind is light, allowing fog to settle into some areas this morning, officials said.
Fog is expected to return late tonight, with low temperatures in the 30s.
The pattern of dry, sunny weather is expected to continue over the weekend, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 30s on Saturday and Sunday.
