Boys Top 20: No. 2 Jesuit tops No. 5 Pleasant Grove 57-54; Folsom's Justin Woody scores 47 in win against Ponderosa

Parker Uu and Bryce Pressley each had 20 points as No. 2 Jesuit defeated No. 5 Pleasant Grove 57-54 in a Delta River League boys basketball game tonight in Elk Grove. Colfax Nordquist topped Pleasant Grove with 15 points.

The game was close throughout. Jesuit led 31-27 at the half and 42-40 after three quarters.

Jesuit remains a game behind first place Sheldon in league. Pleasant Grove drops to third.

In other boys games involving Bee Top 20 boys teams:

• Armani Hampton had 15 points, Dakarai Allen 13, Ryan Manning 12 and Tyler Morris 11 in top-ranked Sheldon's 64-48 DRL win over No. 11 Oak Ridge. Bryce Scott had 26 points for Oak Ridge, which handed Sheldon its only league loss 39-35 Jan. 25 in El Dorado Hills. • Gabe Bealer's 24 points led No. 4 Antelope to a 75-48 win over Mira Loma in a Capital Athletic League game. Antelope has the area's best boys record at 23-1.

• Tyler Milani's 17 points led Woodcreek to a 61-46 upset of No. 13 Del Oro in a Sierra Foothill League game. Del Oro was 6-0 and Woodcreek 1-5 in league entering the game.

• Matt Donlan's 19 points helped No. 15 Capital Christian defeat Dixon 63-32 in a Golden Empire League contest.

• Justin Woody had 47 points as No. 18 Folsom defeated Ponderosa 69-65 in a DRL game.

• Troy Owens had 16 points and freshman Jordan Roberson added 12 as Cordova defeated No. 20 El Camino 60-51 in a Capital Athletic League game.
