The Chieftains celebrate 50th year
What: The Chieftains 50th Anniversary Tour 2012: Voice of Ages. The venerable Paddy Maloney, who formed the Grammy-winning band in 1962, is bringing his uilleann pipes, tin whistle, button accordion and bodhrán along with the rest of the Irish band to Davis. The Chieftans are credited with making traditional Irish music popular around the world.

Jennifer Berezan
What: Jennifer Berezan of Berkeley is a singer, teacher and activist who blends melody, meditation and warm vocals in songs of earth-based spirituality. Her show will mark the release of her new CD, "Home," and include musical guests Chris Webster, Scott Amendola, Anthony Costello, Jon Evans and Geoffrey Pearlman.

Food Film Festival
What: The Sacramento Food Film Festival features more than a half-dozen food-centric documentaries that explore topics from the billions of pounds of food tossed each year in the United States to family farms and the National School Lunch Program.
