State Regulators Meet to Discuss Proposed Natural Gas Storage ProjectLoading

Led by California Public Utilities Commissioner Catherine Sandoval, state regulators and other interested parties take a bus tour of the proposed site of natural gas wells in Sacramento on Monday, June 18, 2012. Only a few days remain before state regulators decide on a proposal to store natural gas under a Sacramento neighborhood southeast of downtown. Residents signed up for a tour of the site then attended a meeting at Coloma Community Center held by regulators from the CA PUC and attended by other officials. Several opponents demonstrated outside the community center and carried their signs inside and held them quietly during the meeting.
