On-time arrivals at Sacramento International Airport and other U.S. airports declined in June, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation's latest statistics.
DOT said Sacramento had an on-time arrival rate of 81 percent in June, based on nearly 4,000 flights. That was down from 87.1 percent in May and just bested the national rate of 80.7 percent in June.
The national on-time arrival rate in May was 83.4 percent.
Nationally, Hawaiian Airlines was the most on-time carrier in June, with a rating of 93.9 percent.
The on-time departure rate out of Sacramento International in June was 83 percent, beating the national average of 79.3 percent.
