Los Rios Community College District trustees on Wednesday night announced that the Three Stages performing arts complex at Folsom Lake College will be renamed the Brice W. Harris Center for the Arts.
The trustees made the announcement at a celebration honoring Harris, who is retiring as Los Rios district chancellor Aug. 31 after 16 years leading the system's four colleges and 87,000 students.
Earlier this month, district trustees appointed Jon Sharpe to serve as interim chancellor. Sharpe has been the district's deputy chancellor since 2004.
