Sacramento TV veteran Lisa Gonzales is changing stations.
Sacramento station Channel 3 (KCRA) announced today that Gonzales will join its news team next Tuesday. Gonzales comes to Channel 3 after anchoring Sacramento Channel 13 (KOVR) morning and noon newscasts for the past seven years.
Gonzales is a Sacramento native and graduated from El Camino High School before attending University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a degree in rhetoric with an emphasis in journalism.
"I am honored and humbled to work at the station I grew up watching. This is a rare opportunity and an exciting new chapter in my career," Gonzales said.
