Smoked or Roasted salmon pizza

Smoked salmon pizza

Recipes by Harborside Pizza owner Brian Wildrick.

INGREDIENTS

Pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)

Olive oil

Parmesan cheese, grated

Oregano and thyme (fresh or dried)

Grated mozzarella cheese

Smoked salmon

Red onions, sliced

White vinegar

White sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Pickle the onions in a mixture of white vinegar and white sugar for up to 24 hours.

Drizzle olive oil over the pizza crust.

Add Parmesan, oregano and thyme.

Add a light topping of mozzarella, followed by the smoked salmon and cured red onions.

Bake in the oven at 425 degrees or higher until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.


Roasted salmon pizza

INGREDIENTS

Onions, sliced

Cloves of whole garlic, roasted whole and chopped

One salmon fillet

Pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)

Pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Shredded mozzarella cheese

Crispy smoked bacon, crumbled

INSTRUCTIONS

Caramelize onions and roast garlic heads.

Roast salmon fillet with a little salt and pepper until it is no more than medium-rare.

Spread pizza sauce over unbaked crust, then add mozzarella and bacon.

Add onions and garlic.

Break up the salmon into bite-size pieces and add to the pizza.

Bake in the oven at 425 degrees or higher until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
