Look for below normal temperatures and a slight chance of showers during the work week.
The National Weather Service is predicting low-to-mid 70s for daytime temperatures through Friday in the Sacramento region. A slight chance of showers is predicted for Tuesday night.
The normal high for today, Oct. 8, is 81 degrees. The record high for today in downtown Sacramento is 101 degrees, a mark set in 1996.
