I love watching the fog appear and roll over the surface of the cold lake when the sun hits the water. The brightness of the fog and highlights off the boats combined with the deep shadows are a perfect subject for the built-in HDR feature of my camera. This photo was made on October 17, 2012 with a Canon 5D MkIII camera using a Canon 16-35mm zoom lens at 17mm. The exposure was 1/180 sec. at f/16 using ISO 1600 with a polarizing filter.
