Looking at the intensity of the color and the bare trees in the center of the frame, this is an indication that this will be the last weekend for peak color here. This photo was made on October 17, 2012 with a Canon 5D MkIII camera using a Canon 24-105mm zoom lens at 40mm. The exposure was 1/250 sec. at f/13 using ISO 1250 with a polarizing filter.
