Here’s a shot of the miner’s cabin after sunset using three Canon 600 RT speedlites to illuminate the two rooms of the cabin. I gelled the speedlites with orange filters to simulate the warm light eminating from oil lamps or candles used in that era. This photo was made on October 17, 2012 with a Canon 5D MkIII camera using a Canon 24-105mm zoom lens at 24mm. The exposure was 1/4 sec. at f/11 using ISO 6400.
