Re "Republicans' problems can be fixed with a single policy change" (Viewpoints, Nov. 9): Charles Krauthammer, you are absolutely right! The shellacking that the GOP received in Tuesday's elections had nothing to do with the GOP positions on the economy, education, tax cuts for the rich, abortion, contraception, women's rights, equal pay, foreign policy, climate change, gay rights, Medicare, or Social Security.
As you say, the GOP presidential loss, loss of Senate seats, loss of House seats was ONLY about the growing Hispanic population. Democrats only get votes from Hispanics because Hispanics are Hispanics. There is NO other reason. Republicans only have to soften their position on immigration and everything will be GREAT for the GOP. Again, you are right. The GOP's positions on all these other issues are right. Keep advocating this. Keep reiterating it. Keep saying it. Please.

• Do not use the commenting system for advertising. That's spam and it isn't allowed.
• Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
• Don't flag other users' comments just because you don't agree with their point of view. Please only flag comments that violate these guidelines.
