Stanford's David Shaw was named the Pacific-12 Conference Coach of the Year on Monday.
Shaw joined Washington's Don James, USC's Larry Smith and Pete Carroll, and Oregon's Chip Kelly as the only back-to-back winners of the award, which began in 1975.
Shaw led his alma mater to a 10-2 record and the North division title one year after losing star quarterback Andrew Luck.
In two seasons Shaw has a 21-4 record.
Boise State – When asked about his name being linked to new openings, coach Chris Petersen simply looked at his watch and laughed – joking that reporters waited 22 minutes before asking the question. He said any rumors of his departure are false and that he has no plans to leave the Broncos.
