Buhach Colony used a fast start and a strong finish to cement its place in today's 18th annual Golden Valley Lady Cougar Classic championship game.
Jessica Silva drained four 3s en route to a game-high 23 points and Allison Wisdom chipped in 14 as the Thunder (2-0) dispatched of Hoover 53-42 on Friday night at Cougar Arena.
BC will face Dublin (2-0) in the title game at 1 p.m.
The Thunder outscored Hoover 30-14 in the first and last quarters to secure the win.
Livingston 36, Golden Valley 21
Christina Rodriguez scored Livingston's first nine points and finished with a game-high 13 as the Wolves beat the host Cougars.
Jessica Lane and Camille Flores each pace Golden Valley with six points.
