Tonight's Kings game vs. L.A. Clippers

Published: Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 - 12:00 am | Page 5C

TONIGHT'S GAME

Kings (4-11) at L.A. Clippers (9-6)

• Time: 7:30 p.m.

• Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles

• TV: CSNCA, NBA TV

• Radio: KHTK (1140)

THREE KEYS

1. Bench production: Clippers guard Jamal Crawford is establishing himself as an early candidate for Sixth Man of the Year. If Tyreke Evans (bruised left knee) is out, someone must pick up the bench scoring for Marcus Thornton, who will start in Evans' place.

2. Make the bigs work: Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan are athletic but not known for their one-on-one defense. The Kings' big men must be patient, test Griffin and Jordan, and not rush shots that could be blocked.

3. Road focus: The Kings are 0-5 on the road. If the game is close, the Kings must show more mettle down the stretch than they have in close road games.
