Re "Beloved janitor, 62, 'took care of all of us'" (Page A1, Dec. 8): By the end of the story about Roy McKnight, I could not see through the tears.
Roy could have chosen a different path with his education. Instead, he chose a simpler life that gave him meaning,and purpose. Through his simple acts of kindness and love shown to these children. They will pass it on. Our lives are not measured by fame or fortune, but by how you affect those around you on a day to day basis.
