SUNDAY

PACKERS AT BEARS

• Time: 10 a.m.

TV: FOX40

Line: Packers by 3

Records: Bears 8-5, Packers 9-4

The skinny: A Green Bay victory ends the suspense in the NFC North, and the way Chicago is hurting it might need to start worrying about just getting into the postseason if it falls at Soldier Field. The latest injury is to kicker Robbie Gould's left calf, and he is done for the season. Defensive leader Brian Urlacher (hamstring) and outstanding cornerback Tim Jennings (shoulder) also have missed time, and quarterback Jay Cutler hurt his neck in last week's loss to Minnesota but expects to play. The Packers' Aaron Rodgers has not had a huge game in a while; that could be coming against the limping Bears in the 186th game in the NFL's longest series.

BRONCOS AT RAVENS

• Time: 10 a.m.

TV/radio: Ch. 13, 1320

Line: Broncos by 2 1/2

Records: Broncos 10-3, Ravens 9-4

The skinny: AFC West champion Denver has won eight straight games behind its staunch defense, giving it the edge in that area over sputtering Baltimore, which says a lot considering how good the Ravens' defense usually is. Then there's the comfort level the Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has reached with his teammates on offense. In contrast, the Ravens fired offensive coordinator Cam Cameron this week, replacing him with Jim Caldwell – coincidentally, Manning's last coach in Indianapolis before the four-time MVP headed to Denver.

CHIEFS AT RAIDERS

• Time: 1:25 p.m.

TV/radio: Ch. 13, 950

Line: Raiders by 3

Records: Chiefs 2-11, Raiders 3-10

The skinny: The last time these bitter rivals met, the Raiders were 2-4 and the Chiefs 1-5. Not much has changed, a sad commentary considering how good both of these franchises once were. The Raiders announced an extension Thursday in an attempt to avoid another local blackout. The likely replacement: Steelers at Cowboys.

49ERS AT PATRIOTS

• Time: 5:20 p.m.

TV/radio: Ch. 3, 680, 1320

Line: Patriots by 5 1/2

Records: 49ers 9-3-1, Patriots 10-3

The skinny: Six days after exposing the Texans in a prime-time rout, New England takes on the 49ers, another likely division winner with Super Bowl aspirations. Should the Patriots, who have won 20 games in a row at home in December, do the same to the 49ers on Sunday night, nobody will doubt they have earned the favorite's role. Even with the No. 2 defense in the league, the 49ers will be dealing with a special offense as New England takes aim on several NFL records.

MONDAY

JETS AT TITANS

• Time: 5:30 p.m.

TV/radio: ESPN, 1320

Line: Titans by 1 1/2

Records: Jets 6-7, Titans 4-9

The skinny: Somehow, even with the turmoil surrounding Mark Sanchez, Rex Ryan and New York, the Jets remain in playoff contention. Sure, they beat weaklings Arizona and Jacksonville, and not convincingly, in the past two weeks. And after this prime-time affair against another also-ran, they finish against San Diego and Buffalo. So 9-7 and a wild-card spot isn't inconceivable.
