Course What you need to know
Ancil Hoffman Greens smooth/fast; No. 14 green not quite up to par yet but getting closer
Bartley Cavanaugh After much reseeding and general TLC, fairways in best shape since early June; greens rolling true, as usual; a super drainer/winter course, as always
Dry Creek Even the I'd-rather-die-than-touch-my-ball sticklers will want to use winter rules in the fairways; greens continue to be smooth and fast
Teal Bend Greens and bunkers good; only problem are leaves they've been blown into rough but can make ball hunting a challenge
Whitney Oaks A good draining wet-weather option; greens very nice and fairways thin
