One of Sacramento's most prominent communications firms has named a new president.
Runyon Saltzman & Einhorn, Inc., announced today that Christopher S. Holben has been named the company's new president and public relations director.
Holben replaces Estelle G. Saltzman, who is now chairwoman of the board.
Before joining Runyon Saltzman & Einhorn in 2003, Holben was the senior vice president of public affairs at Hill & Knowlton, also a public relations company. He also once served as the undersecretary of the California Trade and Commerce agency in the Pete Wilson administration.
Runyon Saltzman & Einhorn billed about $48 million in 2012. The company has a variety of clients, including the California Department of Public Health, the Niello Company and the California Exposition and State Fair.
