Re "Soldier faces death penalty" (Nation in brief, Dec. 20): It's good that the wheels of justice are rolling in the case of Staff Sgt. Robert Bales for the attacks on two villages in Afghanistan. Guilty or innocent, he will soon get his day in court.
There's another member of the military who long ago should have had his day in court -- Nidal Hasan, accused of killing 13 and wounding 29 at Fort Hood in 2009. He is not to be forgotten.
