A Sacramento Bee executive was named corporate director of audience development Thursday at the newspaper's parent, The McClatchy Co.
Sacramento-based McClatchy announced the appointment of Daniel Schaub.
Schaub, who has worked at The Bee since 2003, has been the paper's senior vice president of audience development and membership services. That role included oversight of circulation, production, marketing and other operations.
The Riverside native has worked in the newspaper industry for 31 years, including stints at the Los Angeles Times and Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Maria Ravera, a Bee marketing executive, will become the paper's vice president of audience development, according to Cheryl Dell, the paper's publisher and president.
Dell also announced that Robert Ford is the paper's new production director.
