A little rain is forecast for this morning.
Sunday and Monday are expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures about 50 degrees. Watch out for early morning frost on those days, government weather forecasters warn.
New Year's Eve is expected to be chilly. Cloudy skies expected on Monday night won't be dropping any rain on revelers, according to the National Weather Service.
December 2012 will go into the record books as a wet month. So far, 6.46 inches of rain has fallen in downtown Sacramento.
The normal for December is 2.76 inches. The all-time wettest December was in 1852, when the city received 13.40 inches.

• Don't flag other users' comments just because you don't agree with their point of view. Please only flag comments that violate these guidelines.
