Sacramento police have arrested two additional people in connection with the fatal New Year's Eve shooting in Old Sacramento.
They said Amber Scholz (left photo), 36, and her husband Charles Fowler-Scholz (right photo), 34, were associated with Carlito Montoya, who was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in the incident.
Police said Amber Scholz is believed to have instigated the altercation and her husband was allegedly involved in the fight that preceded the deadly shooting. No further details were available.
The shooting occurred at the Sports Corner Cafe. Gabriel Cordova, a patron, and Daniel Ferrier, a bar employee, were killed and three other people were wounded, including Cordova's wife and Montoya.
