Re "Cordova Hills is needed" (Letters, Jan. 5): Letter writer Annette DeGlow is in favor of the Cordova Hills subdivision based on the possible placement of a four year university the developers promise.
First of all, the developers do not have a learning institution willing to locate out in the middle of nowhere. Second, this project completely ignores LAFCO's own plan. Has anyone noticed there is already an isolated subdivision in Rancho Cordova called Anatolia?
What are the response times for fire and police to an isolated neighborhood? Will the county be on the hook for building new fire and police stations closer to the new subdivision?
