Re "Health insurer rates still rise steeply" (Page A1, Jan. 6): Our health insurance premium for my wife and me is almost three times the amount of our home mortgage payment. Yes, you read that correctly.
There always seems to be a great deal of talking and pontificating in this country about Christianity and morals, and yet, given the unseemly huge profit margins of health insurance companies, no one ever seems to address the moral failing that is evident in their inexcusable and unjustifiable greed. I thought that greed was one of the seven deadly sins.
One would think that Republicans would be constantly railing against this evil corporate moral failure.
