Re "Bonds gets my vote for Hall of Fame" (Marcos Breton, Jan. 7): To deny vote, Marcos Breton demands proof of performance enhancing drug use. The cream and the clear are conceded by all to be performance-enhancing drugs.
Since Bonds admitted availing himself of the cream and the clear, Bonds admitted to using PEDs. Simple logic. Did he use? Categorically, the answer is "yes." Since death sentences require only a finding of proof beyond a reasonable doubt and facts determined by a mere preponderance of evidence may significantly increase other sentences, why, in the face of Bonds' uncoerced admission that he used PEDs, did Breton still vote for him?
For sycophants and their ilk, it's OK to tell superstar kids to cheat, if everyone else is doing it.
