Re "Justice for homeless people" (Letters, Jan. 8): Letter writer Mark Edwin Merin supports the "Homeless Bill of Rights," which he claims would protect the homeless from discrimination.
When this bill of rights becomes law and public parks become free public campsites, I'm looking forward to having my entire RV club park their motor homes and trailers in the middle of Discovery Park for as long as we wish.
After all, to avoid being discriminatory, rights given to the homeless must apply to everyone. But don't worry. We'll be discreet about where we empty our waste tanks.
