A 44-year-old Oakdale soccer coach was arrested Monday night on charges of raping one of his players -- a 16-year-old girl -- while she was sleeping at his home, authorities said.
Timothy Lyman is suspected of having sex with the girl after she apparently fell asleep after a party at his home in the 1100 block of H Street, said Sgt. Brian Shimmel of the Oakdale Police Department.
The girl told police Monday that she attended a party in late December during which Lyman provided alcohol to her. She told police she woke up to Lyman having sex with her. Further information about the attack was not available.
