Re " New hope to keep Kings in Sactown" (Editorial, Jan. 15): I have long suspected that Bee Editorial Board members rode to work in private zeppelins. Now I guess they must be whiffing the hydrogen, too.
To place a major sports stadium at the confluence of two of the busiest interstates in the nation is to guarantee the mother of all traffic nightmares, especially during construction.
And to even suggest that a city with $2 billion in unfunded obligations ($3 billion, when you add in the mandatory sewer upgrades) owes a "fair share" of almost $300 million more towards the cost of this white elephant is unmitigated insanity.
Enough already! If Sacramento isn't big enough for the Kings, let them go somewhere else.
