Re "Wild gun rhetoric undermines serious debate" (Editorials, Jan. 16): The National Rifle Association, in its desperate attempts to blame anything and anyone other than weaponry as a part of the problem, diminishes the good will, good intentions, integrity and rationality of the majority of gun owners and users.
The NRA leadership is as distant from reason and common sense as Andromeda. Shame on a once great organization for its shift to ultra radical, paranoid and obsessive sniveling while taking cover through its gross distortion of the meaning of the Second Amendment.
The NRA makes me ashamed to admit I like guns and shooting.
