Re "Life lessons from McKitty" (Viewpoints, Jan. 12): So Margaret Bengs is an overly sentimental cat lady; no surprise there.
Bengs claims to have gained this wonderful contentedness from observing and caring for her "backyard miracle." Really? Then why does she incessantly tell others what to do and how to live their lives?
Despite her kitty, Bengs howls and hisses each and every time she provides her so-called "analysis" of any political or social issue. She attacks women's choices; she attacks marriage equality; she attacks shared burden and shared reward. Bengs has her claws in everyone else's back all the time.
