Services for Galt police Officer Kevin Tonn will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Adventure Christian Church, 6401 Stanford Ranch Road in Roseville.
Following the service, a procession will travel from the church to East Lawn Memorial Park, 5757 Greenback Lane, where he will be laid to rest.
A reception will be held at the Citrus Heights Community Center, 6300 Fountain Square Drive in Citrus Heights.
Tonn, 35, was shot and killed Tuesday as he struggled with a man believed to be a burglary suspect. He had been an officer with the Galt Police Department for 3 1/2 years.
He served in the military, fire services and law enforcement, and officials said they expect a large turnout from the public service community Tuesday, creating heavy traffic in the area.
The public is invited to attend.
