Re "Lies continue on Benghazi" (Letters, Jan. 25): I marvel at the people who think there should have been perfect and direct communication from Benghazi during that calamity, but do not marvel that the first information we got about the Sandy Hook murders was that the gunman's mother worked at the school.
Remember? And we were told he was allowed into the school because the staff knew him because of his mother? But then the story changed. She didn't work at the school and he broke a window to get in.
Does anyone think the public was purposely misled? No? Then how do you explain it? That was right here in the USA in an ordinary community. Communication should have been accurate. But it wasn't.
