Re "Gun industry steps up its outreach to youths" (Page A1, Jan. 27): This article excoriates the gun industry for its marketing tactics to youths. There is another industry that heavily markets to young people, but no one criticizes it: the contraception/abortion industry.
The abortion industry's strategies include giving contraceptives, condoms, sex-practice training materials and abortions to youths. The industry's youth-marketing effort is backed by extensive social research and is carried out by an array of non-profit groups financed by the abortion industry.
Actually, the abortion industry has done a tremendous job in reducing gun sales to youths. In the past 40 years, 55 million youths did not make it to gun purchase age because they never made it to any age at all.

Do not use the commenting system for advertising. That's spam and it isn't allowed.
Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
Don't flag other users' comments just because you don't agree with their point of view. Please only flag comments that violate these guidelines.
