An informational meeting about the Inderkum High School International Baccalaureate program will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the school theater.
International Baccalaureate programs prepare students for rigorous college study, allow them to earn university credits and help them gain admission to top colleges.
Inderkum is an official candidate school for the IB Diploma Program. School officials say the final portion of the application for the program will be submitted this spring. School officials expect to officially begin the program in fall 2014.
The informational meeting is primarily for eighth-graders and their parents, according to a press release from the school.
Inderkum High School is at 2500 New Market Blvd. in Sacramento.

• Don't flag other users' comments just because you don't agree with their point of view. Please only flag comments that violate these guidelines.
