Undercover Caterer makes Frito taco salad
I posed this question on Facebook the other day: "Can you call a salad a 'salad' if it involves Fritos and cheese?" The overwhelming response was YES. Therefore, readers, I present to you the Frito taco salad in all its glory ... Vegetables? Check. Yellow cheese? Check. Beans for protein? Check. Bottled salad dressing? Check. Fritos? Check.
Everyone loved this stuff. Rave reviews from even the most discerning and picky teenaged eater. We probably washed it down with a cold Lucky Lager (in a squat bottle) or fine Schaffer beer (in a can).

Cavegrrl gets an early taste of Seasons 52
Last Wednesday evening I attended a preview dinner at Seasons 52. ... The name and menu are inspired by the seasons and the fresh appeal of the farmers market.
Wood-fire grilling and brick-oven cooking result in meals that are naturally lower in calories with nothing on the menu over 475 calories.
I was seated at a long table alongside Catherine Enfield, a.k.a. Ms. Munchie of Munchie Musings, and Darrel Ng of Cowtown Eats for a multicourse gastronomical tour of the Seasons 52 menu and wine pairing. Glad I wore my stretch pants. (Kidding!)
