NFL 101

Five lessons from last week:

• Paying the electric bill on time apparently is not a priority for the Superdome.

• Cornerback Chris Culliver has had better weeks.

• Quarterback Joe Flacco is the MVP, but the 49ers may have begrudgingly voted for Jacoby Jones.

• The Ravens have a lot of faith in Sam Koch's ability to hold onto a football.

• A 22-point lead over the 49ers is enough, but just barely.
