Sutter Davis Hospital this week received the Governor's Award for Performance Excellence from the California Council for Excellence.
"Most of the hospital's key performance results are within the top 10 percent of comparable organizations, demonstrating a passion for excellence," said Denise Shields, CCE chairwoman.
Sutter Davis is the fifth California organization in 19 years to receive the award.
Evergreen gets Roseville downtown project role
The city of Roseville has selected Sacramento-based Evergreen Co. as part of a partnership to redevelop the city's downtown.
A real estate development firm, Evergreen's projects include the Creekside retail complex in Roseville.
The other partner selected is Baltimore-based Cordish Cos.
Evergreen and Cordish will create public/private financing plans and determine tenant mixes.
