Re "Boy Scouts delay vote on gays" (Page A7, Feb. 7): Personally, I find it appalling that The Bee would print a photo of children who are being used by adults to further an agenda by a corporation that violates civil rights. Do a survey of those children and see how many of them, if any, know what "morally straight" means, if they know what a straight or gay sexual orientation means?
All of those pictured appear under the age of puberty. They can't be taught about sex in school at that age, so what knowledge do they have of sexual orientation at that age and who taught them? This is a civil rights issue, not a religious issue. Stop using children as billboard for adult issues.
