Bedria Williams, a 15-year-old who went missing out of Oregon last month, was found safe late Friday in Sacramento.
Williams left her school in Creswell, Ore., shortly after noon Jan. 11. Her father, Pat Williams, believed she boarded a commuter bus to Eugene, Ore., before making her way to Sacramento.
"She's safe and with her family," said Shelli LaMadrid, a volunteer with the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office who organized a search for the teenager Friday.
The search party received a tip that she was at an apartment in Sacramento County and at that point requested police assistance, said Officer Doug Morse, Sacramento police spokesman.
Williams was found at the apartment and released to her father about 2 a.m. Saturday.
"She was safe and there was nothing criminal," Morse said.
Pat Williams said his daughter is in "good health" and that the "whole family was just relieved."
