As a fifth generation Texan, I’d like to offer ya’ll my sincere apology for letting our governor, Helmet Head Rick Perry, slip his leash. Honest, we thought we had him hobbled pretty good after that little presidential run, but dang if he didn’t get loose again. So now I hear he’s out there lying to ya’ll.
Ask J.C. Penney or American Airlines or Dell Computers how good business is out here. If you like free day care, we have it. We call it public schools. We have a lot of beautiful state parks, if you can get to one before they close it due to lack of funding. If you are a teacher, stay home. We laid off 100,000 last year. Did the governor mention his war on women and children? Yeah, he really hates it when starting whining about health care and stuff.
So anyway, if ya’ll can round up the little devil and send him this way, we’ll try to keep a better hold of him.
By the way, thanks for the In-and-Out Burger places. I hope we can send ya’ll a few Whataburger places. And sorry again, really sorry.
