A blaze at a home in Folsom on Monday caused an estimated $250,000 in damage, according to fire officials.
The fire at the two-story home in the 200 block of Singer Lane is still under investigation. Damage was limited to the garage and attic of the residence, according to a Folsom Fire Department press release.
The first firefighters arrived at the burning home between four and five minutes after the first 911 call. The garage was fully involved in flames and smoke when crews got to the two-alarm blaze.
