The U.S. Chamber of Commerce's National Chamber Foundation will host a "Hiring Our Heroes" job fair for veterans and military spouses today in Sacramento.
More than 35 employers are expected to be at the Clarion Inn & Conference Center, 1401 Arden Way, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Since its launch in 2011, the "Hiring Our Heroes" program has held more than 400 job fairs nationwide, helping more than 14,000 veterans and military spouses find employment.
Job seekers can register for free at https:// hoh.greatjob.net. Walk-ins are allowed, but veterans must provide proof of military service.
Chesapeake Energy is the job fair's primary sponsor.
